looks good but i doubt ill get it unless it supports the wii classic controller.

Isn't that what they announce in the video?

i dunno didnt have my speakers on. just watched it for the gameplay.

There is classic controller support. You see two people sitting next to each other, one with Wiimote + Nunchuck and one with Classic controller. I think that also means splitscreen-multiplayer, but I don't know for sure, so if someone knows, please tell me.

Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.

More new images.

We want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't they say they wanted to expand the franchise to the West? Odd.

It does look pretty cool, AND it sounds like they have taken the right approach with the game...

Gesta Non Verba

Nocturnal is helping companies get cheaper game ratings in Australia:

Wii code: 2263 4706 2910 1099

For some reason, I don't want it. I don't know what MH games are about, but all I see in these trailers is generic swordsmen fighting huge monsters, over and over. Is there any story whatsoever? Is there anything you can do but fighting? Are there NPC's, buildings, puzzles?

Currently playing: NSMB (Wii)

Waiting for: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii), The Last Story (Wii), Golden Sun (DS), Portal 2 (Wii? or OSX), Metroid: Other M (Wii),
... and of course Zelda (Wii)

I haven't played any, but I think the game is essentially just fighting. No real story. You can fight up to 4 people vs monsters.

There is a "town" that has NPCs and buildings.

There may be some puzzles, but if there are, those will only be a very minor part of the game.

@ Oy

Yes, it's split-screen co-op.

No, there are no puzzles.

Yes, there is a "town" and NPCs, but you mostly go there to craft armor and weapons and buy items, you go there between each mission.

OT:

I hope they do bring it to the west, but considering the sales of the past MHs, even after it's success in JP, moving it to the west seems like an exercise in futility, since it will get 75%+ of it's sales in Japan.
