Will be usefull for the Japanese tourists. (always hate it when they ask me to show me a place on the map especially when they are holding a map from an other country/city).

Edit:  And it comes with a 240 GB harddrive o-O.

Anyone have any good/bad experiences from the Sony Walkman mp3 player?

actually, no.  I have dropped mine a number of times, run with it every morning and generally treat it bad.  My Ipod touch has broken twice and I treat it pretty nicely.  Another note is that sony mp3 players are fairly cheap in price.  I still prefer my touch though, i dunno why.  It's just kind of more fun if that makes sense.

Wow that Vaio is Tiny, but sexy.

Looks like Sony is also in the TV that streams market. I wonder why the PS3 and 360 haven't been able to include these features, yet the new TV sets all seem to be able to.

A motion sensor that turns the TV off if no motion is detected in the room. Hope you don't have cats!

Theres your TV content

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

The MP3 player is great.. its the software that goes with it that blows...

Are you referring to Roxio?  I think that's what it's called.  My bro-in-law was trying to use his walkman and I had to force remove a few programs from his computer to get it to upload properly.  I even had to download a program to remove a program.

If that's what you are talking about...is there any way to not put those programs on your computer?

The main and only problem Sony MP3 walkman had back in the day was ATRAC 3 format and its very lousy manging software Sonic Stage but Sony got rid of them both. Beside that high end MP3 walkman have always been great devices. I've bought one four years ago because it could also be used as 20Go pocket external HD, while USB Keys held only up to 2 Go.
