Forums - Gaming - How do you react to losing hours of progress in a game?

I had it yesterday with Lost Odyssey. Somehow my last save went wrong (I'm absolutely sure I saved) and I accidentally forgot to save th eprevious savepoint, so had to redo at least 2 hours. Sucks, but I replayed it right away.

If you just close your DS while playing it holds out for a looong time. I had a red light even closed, without my adapter, but it stayed alive for 16 hours.

Same thing happened to me with Blue Dragon. Good ol' Mistwalker...

nah, I just get slightly annoyed and then get over it.

Firstly, I cry like Nancy Kerrigan. Then I take a big-boy pill and get back on the horse.
It hurts, but whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
At least, thats what my gym teacher used to tell me.

Proud Sony Rear Admiral

That reminds me of the times I spent playing DKC2 on the Wii Virtual Console!

Many times when I reach a new world, I need to play through several levels before I can reach a save point, and I can't return to the previous world to save until I get to the Funky Flights! Since the levels in later worlds require a lot of trial and error to beat, I ended up getting loads of Game Overs and having to beat the boss of the previous world again!
