Forums - Sony - Killzone 2 December Vs January Build Comparison !

Around the Network

You can spot the differences on the first and third pic the most.

Pic #1: The guy's beard. You can see the hair of the beard better on the second pic. The first is a bit blurred.

Pic #3: (The guy to the left) notice his face, it's more detailed than the December pic.

Good God! Will they ever stop making this game look better?! :D

Best looking console game: Feb 2009 = Killzone 2, later in 2009, IMO, 1. HEAVY RAIN, 2. Uncharted 2/God of War III 3. Resident Evil 5

RE5 > KZ2?  lol?

Hell, I'd argue GeoW2 > RE5.

WOW...Looking amazing. I don't think that it will improve visually by the time of release, enough is enough GG, LOL. Anyways, is it just me or does that Natko guy look like Triple H*?

My gosh the textures!

The column in that top pic is even destructible!

It will be interesting to see when the game comes out how much was the player being crap and how much was the controls. Most reviews I've read so far comparing KZ2 to other FPS say that KZ2 doesn't have the precise controls something like Halo does, but it makes up for it in intensity.

Never argue with idiots
They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience

So... This wasn't a joke thread?

As a player of the beta I can definitely say that that person was playing HORRIBLY.  You can also catch videos from 1UP's Killzone 2 all nighter a few weeks back which show David Ellis playing much better.  IGN has some nice videos, too.

And now for some gifs to add to this thread:

Really? From what I have heard (and this is also backed up by 1up's latest "Game Night" where they played Killzone 2 for an hour) is that while the controls are different than most shooters, an FPS fan will be able to pick it up and get the hang of it without fussing over it. Also, there are many different button layouts so u will be able to find one that suits u best (there is one that is close to COD 4).
