I don't know if you guys have noticed, but on the Metroid Preview channel there was a small annoucement at the bottom...."Metroid Prime 3 In Stores August 28! More movies August 16th!"

 Did you notice that? The game was slated to hit stores a day EARLIER and now Nintendo has ever so subtly moved the date up by one day. It might not be a big deal, but I'm starting to get worried.

...It's still nothing compared to how long PAL countries have to wait.

It ships the 27th. In stores by the 28th.

 If it wants to be in stores on the 28th, it had better ship before the 27th. Ever drive cross-country?

All this time I thought it was the 21st. This means I will have to buy 3 games on the 1st day on the same day. That has never happened before for me.

I can't wait to see the look on the clerk's face when I buy the big game of each of the 3 new consoles at the same time on their first day.

Ya I noticed that too. I live in Canada though, so I thought that it just might be the Canadian release date.

This does make more sense, though. Don't most new games get a Tuesday date in the US? Monday releases are pretty rare, IIRC.

Usually they are shipped Tuesday but tend to be found the next day. I went to get Persona 3 and it's nowhere to be found, Madden on the other hand is everywhere...

I remember trying to get a game released on a Tuesday, but the store didn't have it till the next day. It happens often.
