Forums - General - How many 5 year olds...

@alpha

Awesome. See, there can be so much planning put into this and once you put aside the fact that this is pretty sick it can be really fun trying to plan it. Most reasoning is just so funny because you are thinking seriously about bashing skulls of 5 y.o.s.

In terms of sticking to a corner, I see one very good and one very bad. The very good is that you can throw them against the wall which is a new point I never thought of and a very good idea. If you knock a bunch out you can build a wall and it can be advantageous for other reasons you have said.

However, the major negative is that you are trapped in one spot. The wall of kids is good, but at the same time can also be a hindrance that if things go bad you can get really trapped. I like what other people have said in the past in terms of keeping things mobile. If you can use primarily kicking and keep you body moving at all times [5 y.o.s are slower than me] I think you have the ultimate advantage and never get backed into a corner that will screw you.

As for my answer, I am always flip flopping, but I do think the magic number does stand between 20 and 30 for me at least. I am smaller though. For someone of greater kicking ability and more agile that number could go waaay up.

I'm relatively tall, and also kinda strong. I had a job where we had to move and throw heavy boxes. Throwing 5 years olds wont be a problem. I can grab one and throw him/her at the others and knock a bunch in one move.

I also have long, strong legs (thank you footb... soccer), so while I have one kid grabbed, I can kick out four or five.

I say I could take around 70-90

Additionally, I have been trained for killing by years of playing video games and am in very good shape. This in additionto my age putting me in the peak physical and mental condition I will ever be in, I am at a supreme advantage physically and strategically.

I do hope this is tongue in cheek!

Trained for killing by playing video games, are you also a world class racing driver cuz u play on Forza?

If you think what you are doing by pressing a few buttons is anything more than fun and is anything like really killing someone you are strange!

Reminds me of a guy I knew down my local arcade when I was about 15 and he was about 30, he really really thought he was indestructable to punches and bullets and claimed to have a licence to kill yet he was the weirdest, wimpiest guy you ever saw and ended up in prison after sexually assaulting someone.

So please say it is meant to be humorous or I have missed something!

Well, assuming we can't kill the little gremlins, I could take at LEAST 75. Reasons are as follows.

I'm 6'3 and 260 lbs. I'm a very big guy, and I'm very strong. The only chance the kids have is if they manage to surround me, but assuming we're here to kick some ass, I'd just kick them in the face and take them down one by one in that situation.

I'm strong enough if they're in a crowd, I could kick one and take a few down at once, buying me some time. I'd then grab one by the legs, twirl them around and use them as an object of beat and smack the hell out of the other kids. When that kid either dies :P or gets knocked out, I'll repeat the same process.

Kids at that age are very strong, but I'm an asshole and regardless of the "training" they got, and the "bloodshed" they'd see, they'll run. :P

The question would be far less disturbing if they were zombie kids like something out of 28 Days Later or the Dawn of the Dead remake. The kid near the start of the Dawn of the Dead remake was pretty vicious, I doubt it'd take many of them to take down a person.

If you were Michael Jackson? All of the ones with cancer. :)

My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.

Pfft thats easy, you just use an unconcious kid as a weapon.

My current record is 58, I think I can do better though.

Wow, once I got over the sick aspect of this thread, it became rather interesting. I'm 6' and 150 lbs. Although I'm not the most well built guy out there, I'm not exactly the scrawniest either. The true challenge in this setting is not simple endurance, but endurance that also minimizes damage taken.

These children have received one day's training in taking me down. That means they'll be going for weak spots and attacking somewhat effectively. Pinching and biting is likely, and if they go for the upper arm or inner thigh (this hurts really, really bad; try it), the pain could prove quite distracting and either lead to an excessive use of stamina or being overtaken.

Thus, maintaining a distance that is between my reach and their's is the optimal situation. Legs are longer than arms and pack much more of a punch than, well punches. Even if they attempt to block, I'm quite confident my kick could go through it. However, evasive maneuvers could be a problem. My kicks will have to be quick in order to make sure that another bugger couldn't sneak in while I'm attacking and yet thorough enough to make up for any movement.

My strategy is to use quick, sweeping kicks that rely on centrifugal momentum to minimize energy used. Also, the kids would probably be kicked backwards or sideways and slow down kids behind him in the process.

If I successfully executed this strategy, I might be looking at 30-40 kids.

I can do 50 easy if theres no time limit, if there is i'm pushing myself to the max and getting more than that but is a shoe considered a foreign object?

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Low for me, like ten. Five year olds can be surprisingly vicious in normal settings, and in this scenario they're given a quick 1 day how to fight class by experts and are fearless and won't stop fighting unless KOed. You’re also swarmed, can’t run or hide, or use anything than yourself against them.

I’d imagine two would immediately grab at the legs and slow you down, the others holding onto the arms, punching you in the kidneys. Even miniscule stuff like if they were just pinching or tickling you is going to be bad considering there’s multiples of them. Going to be distracting as hell.

Still I think I could handle ten at once, considering if I somehow wound up in this crazy fictional scenario, my sense of morality and general well being towards children will be probably be gone at that point. I’m a heavy guy who use to take Tae Kwon Do, but I’m also out of shape and easily winded. I think I could fight ten at once, and have a decent chance of winning.

I’d probably pick one at the start of the fight just to lay out with all my girth behind a single punch. I’d imagine that wouldn’t get far before the above mentioned grabbing and attempts to pull you down while others attack. I did learn in Tae Kwon Do how it’s actually not that hard to break bones, and with five year olds, it’d be even easier. I’d figure after that I’m done with at least half of them. I’d probably be losing a lot of steam by them, but I’m pretty stocky so the actual act of knocking me out would be pretty hard for them. Between some violent thrashing, headbutting, and other nasty desperation tricks, I figure I could power through the remaining before dead tired.

Since I’ve never been in a fight with a five year at my current age, it’s kind of hard to guess. =P
