Here are my expected Wii sales.   200M is still within the realm of possibily though.

theres really no way to tell, the ungodly high demand (enough to keep it supply constrained) could let up this or next year, or it could last another 10 years.

it's hard to tell when you have no way of knowing how close it is to it's saturation point.

2009 -- 30 Million -- LTD Sales - 75 Million Seems to be in the likely league. So far, so good. 

2010 -- 40 Million -- LTD Sales -- 115 Million Whoa! That's high. I doubt it (I'd say 25-30M). But it is in the possible range I guess. 

2011 -- 30 Million -- LTD Sales -- 145 Million Well, as you believe the previous year is 40M, and thus a 25% drop, I have to say this is OK. 

2012 -- 25 Million -- LTD Sales -- 165 Million Well, I'd go with 15M, but you're consistantly a bit higher than me. 

2013 -- 15 Million -- LTD Sales -- 180 Million Considering your previous predictions, it is possible. 

2014 -- 10 Million -- LTD Sales -- 190 Million Sure. 

2015 -- 5 Million -- LTD sales -- 195 Million Not going to comment anymore, as it gets too hard to tell. 

2016 -- 2.5 Million -- LTD sales -- 197.5 Million

2017 -- 1.5 Million -- LTD Sales -- 199 Million

2018 -- 1 Million -- LTD Sales -- 200 Million

What do you guys think....I feel this is possible!

Overall, I'd say you're slightly overshooting 2010-2013, but in the possible range. I am, however, slightly pessimistical about the Wiis LT sales, so I guess your predictions are pretty fair.

I don't think the wii will sell the most in 2009. I think it will be close to the same as 08. In 2010 I will be really surprised if the wii peaks then, and I highly doubt 40 million will be possible.

One thing I think the wii will take alot more of in 2009 is the japanese market. Games like tales of 10, monster hunter 3 & G, Fragile, Madworld, Dragon Quest 10, Wii Sports Resort and punch out should really help move units.



Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

This isn't that bad a set of predictions. I don't know if it can do that kind of numbers without Nintendo giving an incentive for families to own more than one Wii (or really breaking into China in a big way), but it's not outside of the realm of possibility if there are enough people.
