Apparently Sonic isn't their mascot anymore.. just a cashcow.  I think Dimps should work on the IP if this is true.

Interesting.
Now I just hope SEGA takes Yahtzee's advice and takes Sonic behind the shed and puts a bullet through his head.

Sonic doesn't need to shot in the head.  He needs to be with those who actually care him (DIMPS) and not those who are sick and tired of him(Sonic Team).

Probably the strongest reason Sonic games aren't solely Sonic is because Sonic Team is tired of Sonic so they experiment. Look at Shadow, Silver, Mechs, Fishing, Treasure Hunting, Werehog beat-em-ups. I can't believe I was so blind to it.
