hey ps3 owners, ok i know ps3 has divx capabilites like downloading divx movies straight to the HDD, but for some reason i cant stream the damn videos. sony has claimed that the ps3 is fully divx compatible, but its not.  The site i go to is like youtube but in divx format and i cant watch no videos, it says i need the divx web player. so i tried to download it and it says for windows or mac. i have tried many things, but i cant stream.

Please help me out

Not sure about that, just download it onto your computer then transfer through a flash drive.

you might wanna try tversity for video streams , has a transcoder built in.

@a@aj habfan if your talking about downloading the web player to a flash drive, it still doesnt work
if your talking about the video, i dont want to download it, i just want to watch it online just like the youtube videos, but thanks anyway

maybe its fully compatible with DIVX files but not streams.

It's two different things, it can play divx, but that doesn't mean its browser has a plugin to enable it to do that.

Post that feature request on the official PS forums, best you can do about it.
