Well, it's not a game in the conventional sense.

It's very much an unconventional game. His list of reasons as to why, though, is full of fallacies.

Demo is short for Demonstration, which is defined as,  "the act of exhibiting the operation or use of a device, machine, process, product, or the like, as to a prospective buyer," which would imply that Wii Sports was simply an exhibition for either a deeper game, or a mere exhibition of the capabilities of the Wii, which would in turn apply its inability to stand on its own

Tell that to the 3+ million Japanese who bought this game for nearly full price.

 A demo for what game exactly? If it is just a demo, then a full version would exist somewhere yes? It is a full game that is a blast to play with friends. Nothing beats a relaxing game of bowling sometimes.

 just because it's not your type of game doesn't make it a demo, like for me it's a full game which is played for many and many hours in my house even more that other full price games
