Tell me another PS3 exclusive that has a higher score on metacritic in its' genre than any game in the same genre on the 360.

I think the word "fact" was used in the part, where I quote verbatim *ahum* "facts are facts the plain facts are" part...

PS3 best exclusives per genre;

- Action (MGS4 - 94)
- Platformer (LBP - 95)

360 best exclusives per genre;

- Fighting (Dead or Alive 4 - 85)
- RPG (Mass Effect - 91)
- Racing (Forza Motorsport 2 - 90)
- Puzzle (Braid - 93)
- FPS (Halo - 94)
- TPS (Gears of War - 94)
- Flight Combat (Ace Combat 6 - 80)
- Strategy (Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars 82)

The real 'fact' remains that it's immeasurable as it's highly subjective - but if you want to spout off the majority of critics dissprove your 'fact'.

 

 

 

 

Half of those are either ON PC or will be on PC lol and you didn't list things like valkyria chronicles, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, GT5P, Resistance 2, etc... and I could debate Braid since it's a XBL instead of full game and just go into the list of PSN games but for purposes of my argument I was talking about full retail games.

Because your whole argument was "a better variety"...those are all the genres, in each of all the genres bar 2 of them the 360 has a game exclusive (denied a PS3 release) of which the critics agree upon as being 'better'.

The fact that Halo 3 is still at a 94 tied with a much better game like CoD4 is quite funny and shows that even metacritic is kinda pointless when trying to prove a "better game" but there's still a good list of variety on PS3 vs 360, 360 is very shooter centric it's not a huge deal

Again, why does Metacritics determine everything here? Obviously, in 2008 PS3's library proved worthy enough to win countless awards from numerous websites, one of those awards frequently being "Most Innovative" and Little BIG Planet winning that most of the time. To me that says a lot more than ONE website claiming who has the best scores.

I am agreeing with you - you had no problem believing the 'facts' when they showed the PS3 in a good light though.  I'm not saying in some godly arrogant condescending way that the 360 has 'better' games...far from it - I'm merely dissproving Maxwell's version of the 'facts'.

It is ONE website...with amalgamated scores of all others though...

So get hung up on one thing in my post, which you present peoples opinions which is what metacritic is, and if you want to dispute it just get a list of more games in more genres on 360 and that's all you have to do otherwise, why get upset?

Because you were presenting your opinion as a fact is why, I didn't know it had to be stipulated 10 times...

Cool man...the world would be a pretty boring place if everyone liked the same things.  The words 'fact' or 'better' have no place in videogame comparisons.
