Looks a great week for Nintendo.

I'm surprised Mario Party 8 went up due to the fact it's on it's second release.

And Resident Evil 4 still seems to be selling.

Wow the top 10 is almost all Nintendo

Which is pretty decent for Nintendo, given that all the games are on Nint consoles, even though two are not exclusive to them, and account for more than 3-4 different platforms combined sales

Actually, the top 10 is all Nintendo (or on Ninty platforms). And 18 of the top 20 titles.

And they published 7 of the top 10 titles.

Can't deny it, whatever strategy they are using - its definitely working. The EB stores here (Oz) have had a marketing revamp, and the store front is now covered in Pokemon, DS & Wii bundles (with the occasional PS3 value pack thrown in).

It's kind of weird how they don't bother splitting up multiplatform games like other countries and yet they don't combine Pokemon D/P like everyone else.

For one like me that never have played a pokemon game. What is the difference between D and P?

Both version have like 10 exclusive Pokemon. It's a pretty genius ploy to get people to buy more than one version and interact with other people so that they can collect them all (and the Gotta collect 'em all happens to be one of the most genius advertising slogans ever).

i thought it was different starting pokemon like with the different nintendogs games.
i doubt many would buy both diamond and pearl, thats just a waste of money.

speaking of nintendogs, its only a couple of million away from being the biggest selling game ever in Eu/other.... it just has to track down the original pokemon red/green/blue.
