I mean Sure It sells bucketloads more than either but so does the DS.

I mean my reasoning been is you dont have a similar gaming experience with it imo.

Lets be honest we can argue about game B been better than game A on Either PS3 or 360 but you never see anyone saying same game looks better or worse on Wii.

Why because it doesnt have them full stop.

Example: could you make super mario mario kart whats cooking etc on PS360. Answer probably yes.

Could you make gears mgs4 cod4 etc for Wii. Answer probably no.

So it is not a similar console to PS360 imo.

This is not to say Wii is better or worse than PS360 as a gaming experience as I am sure Wii owners will say it is better.

But to compare the 3 as been the same type of console is not really accurate.

My opinion only but I reckon I am corect in my analysis of the situation.

The thing is, in terms of graphics and such, the wii loses out, which is why comparing them all might not be to some peoples taste.

I think they should all be classed on an even playing field

We compare PSP and DS.

Why is the Wii not comparable to the PS360? Oh, cause then the 360 isn't doing that hot...

Pretending that they're trying to appeal to different markets is ignoring the fact that Microsoft pretty obviously (and desperately) wants a piece of Nintendo's pie.

I wasnt pretending anything really just making the point that out of the 3 the only one that is unable to play lots of games is the Wii.

Hence my question is it justifiable to compare the Wii to PS360.

Does anyone else feel like we're just creating the same thread over and over and over again?

Of course Wii is competing with PS3/360 just like DS is competing with PSP in the handheld market.
WII, PS3 and 360 are all videogameconsoles for homeuse.
They are all competing for custumers (believe it or not)
They are all competing for developers (you don´t think Sony and Microsoft would want Dragon Quest X and Monster Hunter 3 on their systems?)

They ARE competetors and they SHOULD be compared to each other.

Sorry about my rant here, I´m just so tired of hearing this argument. I´d guess that sony and microsoftfans would be happy comparing the three consoles saleswise if Wii lost the race.
