if there is a price cut (IF) then the PS3 will probably outsell the 360, if there is not, then the 360 will outsell it

The 360 will sell more than the PS3. But it will be close.

The race between the Wii and the DS for best selling console of 2009 will also be close. I think the Wii will just edge the DS.

going by trends of previous consoles, given that the PS3 will be in its third full year and the Xbox360 will be in its fourth full year, you would expect the PS3 to increase slightly in sales, and the Xbox360 to decrease slightly in sales.

given this, I'll give the edge to the PS3. Just.
