I downloaded the trial demos of Braid and Castle Crashers a while ago and never got around to playing either. Played Braid this morning and I love it!! The music and the story and just everything about it, I will try Castle Crashers later.
Any other TOP notch XBLA titles? I mean Braid level games.
Braid is a work of staggering genius. I'm glad you like it, too. I was pretty disappointed that my friend finally got around to trying it only to give it a big, "WTF?" I expected more from him. 
While there are tons of other XBLA games worth getting, it's hard to recommend any of them as being Braid level, except for Rez.

I second that, Rez HD is a top quality game.
Geometry Wars 2.
It's a terrific game. Be sure to try the demo first, it's not for everybody.

Personally, I don't think there's anything on Live up to the quality of Braid. The closest would be the port of Castlevania: SOTN if you haven't played that yet. It's a necessity to play at least once. One of the greatest games in history. Here's some I would trial if I were you:

Alien Hominid HD
Poker Smash
Pinball FX
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
N+
Uno
Carcassone
Texas Hold 'Em
Ikaruga
Nothing on Live has a remotely comparable story to Braid. There is plenty of quality gameplay to be had though.
