I look at it this way.

When comapring the Raw numbers... and by this i mean the total numbers of DVD sold at this point in time when DVD was new... and the total numbers of BR sold at this point in time now...

DVD has sold more discs.

Despite the fact that the movie industry has had massive expansions under DVD.

If my dad made 300 dollars a week when he was my age...

and I make 200 dollars a week.

It's obvious i'm doing worse then he did... since i'm making less even before inflation is calculated.

So yeah. Revenue... and espiecially top 20 revenue is greatly misleading.

BR isn't even in the park of young mailroom boy DVD.... let alone CEO DVD.

That didn't come true either. That was just BD recorders versus DVD recorders, not movies are players. Just the headlines "forgot" to make that part clear.
