Forums - Gaming - I got Boogie as a birthday gift. What should I do with it?

To my shock, of all the Wii games that I thought of buying or owning, I got the Boogie from EA as a birthday gift. I got this from 10 yrs old nephew who is a certified Nintendo fan.

I can say that I am a RPG player and would definitely not like this Boogie game. I can't return it because there is no gift receipt.

Should I try and play this game? What should I do with it? Will I ever love this game? WIll this make me gay? Should I sell it?

Yeah it will totally make you gay.

Have a girlfriend? If so, theres your answer.

Oh and how old are you?
Boogie could be a great game for getting some mates over having rather too much alcohol and playing.

Amazingly, it will make you gay. However, you can counter that by playing Cho Aniki for 6 hours.

Thank him, try it, see if you enjoy it. If you don't, try it with alcohol. Remember, if he's 10 and may be visiting, selling it and having him ask where Boogie is may make you feel bad.

See Ya George.

Your nephew got it for you as a gift - and probably spent some time mulling over the myriad titles before selecting Boogie (lord knows why, but that's another topic).

I personally would feel terrible that the gift that I thoughtfully got for a loved one was left unappreciated. While that doesn't mean you have to embrace and love Boogie (and no, it won't make you "gay") it is a gift after all. It cost you nothing, and it won't hurt you just to keep it around.

Think of your little nephew that may drop by one day and ask you, "uncle jheco05, did you like Boogie? Can we play?"

Hahah... ROFL. This is the funniest thing I've read on this forum.

 Personally I'd sell it...

In family matters, always listen to your mother.

If you know somebody else who would love it, like your 9 year old niece or something, you could try regifting. That's way less tacky than trading it in at your local Gamestop. Then when your nephew asks what happened to it, you can tell him that you shared it with somebody who always wanted it.

If you live in NA just return it to Wal-mart and ask for store credit, say it was a gift and they told you they bought it form wal-mart and you do not have the bill, 99% of the time they will give you store credit for the cost of the game.

I say light it on fire and dance around it celebrating the fact that you prevented someone else from ending up with this game in their home.

If that doesn't do it for you then pack it with a lude sex movie and claim that was what you got in the box instead of what you wanted like that kid with Madden then sue EA...

A third suggestion would be the tamest choice and that is trade it in and get another game for whatever credit you get for it.

Edit: I suggest putting the credit towards getting Persona 3 which comes out today and will be godly.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
