Hmm, this probably sounds stupid, but I'm afraid that you just don't get it. The Nintendo games you mentioned are special - if they're not your taste, there's little that could be said to convince you.
SMG: How is this NOT a genre-defining game of the decade? I couldn't stop smiling when I played it, I've never seen so many different creative ideas in a game before. Took my time, and I had about a month of pure fun with it (wonder how you managed to finish this, Zelda, Metroid, Zack&Wiki, ... in about 10 days, btw. It's not possible).
ZeldaTP: I couldn't be bothered to play one of all the generic medieval fantasy games. Yet when a new Zelda game is announced, I'm counting the days. There's no other series like it, the atmosphere, game design, the mixture of old and new... Yes, I'm a Zelda player since 1987. If you don't get it, don't play it. But don't try to tell me that it's inferior to the standard OrkDwarfWizardRuneScrollsGoddessPriestSwordSpell formula games that litter the market.
Metroid Prime Corruption: Dunno, didn't enjoy it. I don't like the first person perspective, don't like shooters, don't like scanning lonely planets. But I guess it's good anyway, just not my taste.
Zack&Wiki: It's not as good as some people say. The levels and puzzles are great, but I felt that the motion controls were unnecessary. Plus, some of the most simple motions were explained over and over, while others that hardly ever worked didn't come with an explanation. All in all, it's nowhere near as good as Monkey Island I & II- but then again, nothing is.
Mario Kart: Another game you love or you don't. I've played various Need for Speed or GT games and some other racers, some were pretty good. But Mario Kart is addictive, it looks easy and shallow ar first, but once you and your opponents are good, the gameplay gets really deep and nuanced. I wish Nintendo would release some more new tracks, though.
Smash Bros: Couldn't get into the predecessor, so I skipped this one. Same as Metroid: Not my taste.
All in all, your post seems trollish to me. You cannot have played all the games you claim to have played in 10 days, at least not thoroughly. Mario Galaxy and Zelda:TP are games you should spend a month on - each. So either you're lying, or you didn't really give the games a chance, because you wanted them to suck. I, as a fan, enjoyed these games, and millions of people did. Why do you try to convince us that we're NOT having fun?
