So according to the article, standalone BR players are being accepted twice as quickly as stand alone DVD players were, and then we have PS3 sales on top of that. If MikeB is to be believed, DVD also had twice the adoption rate of VHS in the first couple of years.

Anyone who still thinks BR is a failure needs to get a clue.
