Waaay back in 2005, this European commercial was minted to help promote the launch of the Xbox 360. It was promptly banned for encouraging violent behaviour. The ad's auditions, however, aren't anywhere near as troubling.

Yow. That audition was even more unsettling than this one:
the banned ad was one of the gratest ad ever made...it's really sad that someone thinks that those kind of ads incite violence: if that's true we should ban almost every hollywood movie.

^^ thats not why it was banned, it was too morbid apparently. it would have been heartbreaking to be one of the crew on that production, creating something so good and original only to have it spoilt by over protective parents.

I've seen it and liked it quite a lot. Wouldn't miss a movie with Tadanobu Asano for the world!
^Eh Ichi the Killer is my favorite movie of all time =) I have 2 different versions, some normal version and the blood pouch edition. Along with Ichi Prequel. =)
