I used to yhink PS3 would end 2nd or 3rd, but thanks to Crazzy I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!!! I just realized that simply paying Mario Andretti for his franchise, Sony could legally make MARIO games, bash even the Wii and end FIRST!!!

Crazzy once predicted MGS4 would sell 1 mil in Japan easily but it has only sold 650,000 so far. So if his prediction this time is also 65% true, PS3 would have 65 mil by the end of 2012.

Also, Japan won't be PS3's market even with FFXIII since DQX goes to Wii now. PS3 does not have stronger third party support (as Crazzy claimed) than Wii now.

The day PS3 reach 140m is the day snow will fall in my country.

CrazzyMan, apparently you attribute a lot of PS3's problem to the crisis. Are you aware that most economists aren't expecting things to improve in 2009? There are still a lot of problems waiting to blow up, not to mention the ones still blowing up such as the housing crisis. This could be a 3-5 year long ordeal if not longer.

If you are aware of this, why do you still predict Sony will be able to cut prices in order to sell 100 MILLION? Are you aware of how much Sony is hurt by the crisis, with people not buying expensive TVs and the like?

All I have to say from following this entire thread is.... How is Crazzyman not perma-banned? Do we keep him around just for entertainment value?

All his posts, he argues with the style and effort of young child. You tell a small kid that Santa isn't real, they say, "I got presents!" You tell them their parents bought them, they say, "You can't prove that! The box said Santa! They didn't show up till Christmas morning!" Prediction is: PS3 -> 20 million a year for the next four years.

Let's tackle this first year, shall we? 20 million PS3 - For it to happen, this conversation has to happen at Sony Headquarters.

The point of this story: Sony most likely won't be manufacturing 20+ million PS3 next year based on current demand levels.

How does Crazzyman expect the Playstation 3 to increase it's yearly sales for the next 3-4 years? Thats how he believes the PS3 can sell that well. Last I checked, no console has ever improved from it's 3rd year to it's 4th year (even the PS2). Although the X360 is likely to break that trend, I find it unlikely, if not impossible that, the Playstation 3 will increase in sales for 4 years in a row - Much less his argument that the Playstation 3 will magically increase yearly sales by 140% over the next 4 years. IMO, it's going to be lucky to average 10,000,000 over the next 4 years.

@saicho, MGS4 is not going to stop seeling, it`s making around 1k per week, and when PS3 userbase in Japan will grow, it will reach 1 mln. in sales, Maybe not easy, but it WILL, that`s only what matters.
MGS4 will be best sellling MGS game in Japan and probably WW. =)
DQX vs FFXIII, FFXIIIv, RE5, SF4, T6, Yakuza 3 and etc. =) PS3 is still strong.
