So, if I buy something through the VGChartz Amazon store, like a book or DVD, VGChartz still gets the proceeds right? Can I also use my current amazon account or do I have to create a new one?

Using the VGChartz store is buying from Amazon, so you get all the same benefits as buying straight from them.
Also, if you follow a link from VGChartz to an Amazon product, you have 24 hours to put it in your cart and buy it (even if you don't go through Amazon the second time, obviously you need to have cookies enabled for this to work) and VGChartz still gets a small percentage of the sale. If you put it in your cart from VGChartz, then I think you have like 3 days to buy it else you have to visit through VGChartz again.
