Forums - General - Another Quality MS Product

I'm not trying to blatantly blast Microsoft, but I am a little miffed at their reliability issues as I am now the proud owner of a paperweight the exact size and shape of a Zune 30 Gb.

I received one of these for Christmas.  All was well until I woke up this morning and, lo-and-behold, the poor little fella was dead.  At least I got 5 days of use out of it.  Fortunately this appears to be a software issue, which should be easy enough to fix.

Anyone else have this problem and know how to deal with it?  MS not being very helpful today, I guess they are busy.

Is this a case of not learning from history and releasing a faulty product, or just some programmers idea of a joke?

Around the Network

You do know portable MP3 players break *a lot* no matter what make they are right?

I've gone through four iPods myself and when I worked at Geek Squad half of my day was taking care of proken portable MP3 players (mainly iPods but that was because people mainly had iPods).

Well damn, apparently I was wrong. It might have something to do with this:
