Forums - Gaming - who is the best developer?

Myself.

i created Nintendo and Sony and i also resigned the infinity ward boss because i hated MW2.

If I had to pick only one - Blizzard. Both Nintendo and Sony excluded for obvious reasons.

However, I consistently enjoy works from Naughty Dog, Intelligent Systems, Level - 5, Valve and BioWare.

Mmm, about picking one, i would go to Amusement Vision, AV.

It was a SEGA studio that created the Super Monkey Ball series and i think they got involved in the Game Cube´s F-Zero.

I really enjoyed those games.

Now, back to the first post, i dont like the way Nintendo is doing the things right know, i loved their GCN era with few games, but well done, the system was ignored by the mayority of the gaming industry, but there was someone always trying really hard to make the things right.

Now, we have the Wii success behind, but even Nintendo is going for the cheap money even if it means to sacrifice quality. I m really disappointed with the path the Wii is now and i m seriously considering getting an X360(i hate the company behind it, only goes with and for the money) or the SONY(I hate them too, but as Nintendo in the PSone/PStwo era, they are receiving the humbleness needed to become a better company)

Crytek technically. I like monolith for f.e.a.r. Seriously tho, it probly has to be nintendo overall.

I won't count Nintendo because they simply have too many studios producing games... it's hardly even fair so I'll restrict it to companies that don't have 50 studios spanning 10 countries. Besides, I'd have a hard time picking Nintendo in a landslide if we're allowed to include Sony's first and second parties (ICO, Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Polyphony, etc.). They're both close.

So, with that said, my choices go:

1. Blizzard
1a. Valve
2. BioWare

Blizzard and Valve never produce a game that is less than stellar while some of BioWare's offerings are merely "good".

The developer that is my pick would be VALVE!!!!. They have really shown themselves to be outstanding.

And which Nintendo developer is everyone picking?

Nintendo.....and quite easily at that.

Stack up their ip's against your favourite companies ip's and see how horribly wrong you are........it wont look good for your favourite comapny thats all I can say.

Honestly, I don't know about that. Look at what Sony has done over the past five years: Shadow of the Colossus, Gran Turismo, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, Uncharted, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet...

This isn't nearly as one-sided as some of you believe it to be. If anything, you could argue that Sony has a far more diverse lineup than anything Nintendo is doing right now. Plus, they're constantly creating new franchises that appeal to gamers, not relying on old (but still excellent) franchises born in the 80s that tend to be 80% quality, 20% nostalgia.

my favorites are namco and Nintendo

I don't know many developers to really compare them all. I think Naughty Dogs did very well with Uncharted 2. Also, there is always Nintendo and they do a good job, imo.

Nintendo. The world wouldn't be the same without Mario, Zelda and Metroid.
