I try to make this short..This might be pretty clear already,but..

Lets start with me:

Age:17

First console:Super Nintendo.

Owned consoles:Playstation 1,GBC,GBA,Playstation 2,GBASP,GBAMICRO,PSP,Ds Lite.

Latest consoles:PS3,Ps2,PSP,Super Nintendo.

I don't remember how old I was when my mother bought me Super Nintendo with Yuoshi's Island and Megaman X2,I would say I was 7 years.Still love those games.

After sometime I traded Super Nintendo (shame) for Ps1,that came with Dark Omen,Mortal Combat,G-police.I used it as Cd-player also.After sometime,I went to my friends house and found Metal Gear Solid.Boom.Thats it.After that I ofc bought lot of new games like Final Fantasys,Grandia,Resident Evil 3,Tekken 2,Klonoa,and when sequels were coming to Ps2,I bought one.

I was having this Pokemon thing after I got ps1,and my best friend had GBC and Pokemon.I remember playing it so hard that I really was hearing that "dididid" song even after I stopped playing.So began my handled gaming.

With new Pokemons and Megamans coming to Gba,I started my GBA time.Ofc I found out new games like Castlevanias,Advance Wars,Golden Sun,Zeldas,Final Fantasy Tactics..

After I got Ps2,I firstly started going with sequels.Now that I had many friends with ps2,I got to know new games like Onimusha,Red Faction,others,I started to buy loooots of games.

Then I was gonna buy Ds,then I found out PSP wasn't 349€ if you would buy it used.So I bought one for 180€.Totaly new games at first,then Tekken,Metal gear solid and Final Fantasys started coming.

Last year I bought Ds Lite,bought Yuoshi's island,Megamans,Zelda,Mario,Advance wars..Then after played those and some new games for 4 week,I sold it.

What I remember for Xbox was Halo review: 10.0,only - Was :you need to have Xbox.

So why would I jump to Wii or Xbox 360?If games like Dmc,Mgs,Final Fantasys,Megamans,Grandias,Tekkens,GTA:s,Onimushas, would start to come to those.

Well.Still have Metal Gear Solid only on Sony's consoles.

Thats enough for me to buy Ps3 over Wii/Xbox 360.But If Metal Gear Solid 4 would have come to Xbox 360/Wii,I would most likely bought other one because of price.

Same goes for my old  friends:All who have continued to this gen, have Ps3 with similar games.Not 1 of my old friends has Wii or Xbox 360.

But what If I would be 19 now?I could have started gaming at Nintendo,maybe I woulnd't had that friend who had Metal gear solid.If I would be 15 now,I could have jumped to GameCube with new friends.

So its destiny?

Don't know.But after this,I will stop thinking too much about console war.

It's no mystery, Wii is the casual/mainstream console of choice this generation, just like the PS2 was last gen.

I had a friend at work tell me about getting a Wii for Christmas, he then bought quantum of solace. Clearly, these people don't read reviews and they don't discuss console sales on message boards. Another friend heard us talking and said, "you guys are lucky, I want a Wii". I was shocked because he has a PS2 and always made fun of me for having a gamecube.
