quite amazing, considering all sonic games on the wii have only been mediocre.

Sonic and the Secret Rings: 2.02m
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity: 0.67m

the total of these is 9.64 million. Sonic games on the Wii sold 0.37 million last week, so it has a chance at reaching 10m this week, and if not it will definately reach it in two weeks! And with black knight coming out next march that total will continue to rise fast.

Keep in mind, if you count Sega Superstars Tennis, then it has already reached 10m. I am not though since it does not have Sonic in the title (although Sonic is the main char in it)

ya it seems the only system sonic seem to do good on is the wii and been failing the HD ones

sonic the hedgehog on ps3/360 did OK. but secret rings stomps all over it.

Excellent. Black Night and the legs of the others should allow it to pass 12 million quite easily. Here's to more Sonic games being released for the wii!

This is why Sega has some notable exclusives coming to Wii next year. The Conduit, MadWorld, HotD: Overkill and Sonic & the Black Knight.

So, sonic on Wii has sold over 5 times more then sonic on PS3 and 360 combined. Of course, there are less Sonic games on HD consoles. Part of Sonic's success on Wii is due to Mario, but It is a fantastic achievement regardless.

Too many games. Too little time. I'll settle with Overkill.

My theory is that Sega is making all these average to good games to accumulate money and release a super ultra mega Sonic game!
