While I don't doubt that will be the case (PS3/360 games often end up looking the same lately), I can't find where Capcom said that.

 but the game is first developed in the ps3 which mean that the ps3 version should looks better.

@NNN^^^no,,,it was lead on 360 then after port to PS# they worked on PS3 version to make them look exactly the same,,,so it isn't a simple port but PS3 is still a port

Capcom made DMC 4 virtually identical on both consoles and that was really early in the PS3's lifespan. So I'm sure it'll be the case with Resi 5. I'll be getting the PS3 version regardless.

That's a first. The PS3 Fallout get's a patch and now looks better that the 360? Link? I take it the patch improves the draw distance, frame rate and muddier textures? Or just the numerous bugs? Or how about everything? Must be a big patch.

GTA4 has much less pop up on the PS3 maybe but 360 has higher res, better frame rate, better AA, better lighting (unless you like really like yellow in which case PS3 has better lighting) and custom soundtrack.

well erm i am sorry but the graphical comparison here is bull, the demo comparison on gametrailers clearly shows the ps3 version is "sharper" well thats what they were saying over GT but to be honest i couldn't really see a difference.

Man, with RE5 already eclipsing god of war 3, heavy rain and uncharted 2 graphically and the 360 getting the best version makes this tech war very dull.

Now all 360 needs is to get the best versions of Rage and Doom 4 and Killzone 2 loses all relevance.
