They probably got mad that MGS4 retconned everything in the series and destroyed everyone's favorite characters from MGS3.

Oh god, I really hope that's not the same reason some hardcore MGS3 fans (which I won't say the name) think MGS4 is the worse game in the series?

I have to admit that 7 bloggers not even mentioning MGS4 for GotY is a bit saddening.

Seeing six votes for GTA4 actually angers me and the fact that there isn't even a single vote for MGS4 is just laughable.

Fallout 3 is probably fun too but i can't attest to that till i get off my lazy ass and install my ram.

Overall though it kinda shows why i'm not a fan of those types of websites though.

I was pointing out the fact he didnt put GTA4 as GOTY. FallOut 3 is by far better than GTA4.

Thanks for the complete list, gebx. I was wondering where MK:Wii and World of Goo were. Nice to see Wii Fit nominated for most innovative. That's definitely the most innovative game I played this year.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii are the big ones, obviously.

World of Goo has been mentioned by quite a few people as well.

In my book, Wii Fit deserves a nomination as well.  It is arguably the most influencial game this year (in regards to the general public).

While I'm at it, lets see what else I think is bad with the nominations.

No World of Goo in the Art section.

No de Blob in the Sound section.  No SSBB in the Sound section.

Wii Fit only once in the Innovation section.  No de Blob in the Innovation section.

Mario Kart Wii only once in the Multiplayer section.  No SSBB in the multiplayer section.

de Blob in the Indie section.  The reason I have a problem with that is because Blue Tongue hasn't been indie since 2004.

Finally, six nominations for GTA4 in GOTY.  Really?

I know I'm a little biased, but these guys take bias to a whole other level.
