SDF may be a joke, but Killzone 2 really does rape the shit out of Halo 3 in the graphics department. Looks unbelievable.

Yes both games are into a similar time span of the host's console life cycle and both are high budget exclusives. Bungee hyped their lighting system, like Killzone 2's lighting is the most advanced on the PS3 so far (said to be at the expensive of other sacrifices in Halo 3). From that standpoint it's a pretty fair comparison.

But IMO the differences are bigger than those screenshots show. Killzone 2 is in a higher resolution (the pictures are scaled down) and seen in motion Killzone 2 benefits a lot (awesome animation quality, destructibility and good acting performances). Online gameplay in Killzone 2 is also a lot stronger and technically impressive.

SDF is one of the more entertaining sites out there. Too bad they advertise as a gaming site...

If they advertised as a spoof for the console wars I would join up.

its a day one purchase for me, in fact theres loads of 2009 games that are day one purchase for me.

ive just bought mario kart wii, and sonata, c+c and 4rth dvd of lost oddessey...........not much upcoming on my other consoles, so i guess all my gaming will be done on ps3.

killzone 2 - heavy rain - gt5 - god of war 3 - new ico games - uncharted 2 - white knight - yakuza 3(plz bring it to pal)....not to mention many other unannounced games, im perfectly happy with my ps3 games that i currently have and even more happy at the upcoming games for 2009 that i listed.

its almost impossible now that i will game on my 360 or wii more than ps3..............i only want the games and ps3 delivers for me.
