Ninja Blade demo hits Japanese Live Marketplace, likes US systems

Major Nelson has made a not-so-subtle "psst!" post on his blog announcing – to a Western audience – that a demo version of From Software's Ninja Gaiden clone homage, Ninja Blade, has hit the Japanese Xbox Live Marketplace. In other words, if you have a Japanese Xbox Live account set up, make with the downloading.

Comments on the Major's post indicate that the demo is both region-free and in English ... much like the Resident Evil 5 demo that recently went up on the Japanese XBLM, only to be region-locked after Capcom realized that – shockingly – people outside of Japan really wanted to try the game.

While you could be right...I loved Sonic Unleashed and that got murdered. I also love action games...and I don't see any other ones around for a long time. I can watch god of war 3 trailer over and voer or play this demo :)

6 out of 10 action or survival horror game is better than 10/10 final fantasy (to me as i cant stand rpgs) so reviews really dont matter.

It's meh as I predicted, not AS bad as I thought it would be but that would also me impossible seeing how 'highly' I think of From Software. This one looks like the greatest game made is that TGS Demon Souls gameplay is anything to go by. *shudders*

While I agree that everyone should love any game they enjoy playing, I also realise their is a line that must be drawn when it comes to the quality of a title. And personally, I feel worried for the quality of this title. But I will wait to pass judgement on it myself.
