:O that game looks neat, I'm going to do some reading about it, I got a question though, how long does the game take to beat? is there alot in there to do like twilight princess and fable II or is a bit shortish?

It should take you about 15 hours to complete. There are some optional quests to do, but they should take under 5 hours to complete them all. You can also try to capture all the folks and release their karmas. There's also DLC available, a lot surprisingly.

Yup, I stand humbled, a shame really, the preview looks nice and even though Folklore was a flawed production, it was very unique and a great game overall.

Totally agreed man, to bad, i was looking forward to folklores rumoured sequel for a long while now to.

And lol no worries buddy, i just hope frosty read that to since he was adamanet about folklore "not" being a franchise. :D

Folklore FTW!!!! :P

If at first you don't succeed, you fail

Yeah Snow, its a great one, you wont be dis-A-point-ed.

NNNNOOOOOO! Why!? It's one of the few PS3 games I loved and don't regret purchasing. The story and the way it was told was awesome, but the ending was a little weird. I hated all the repetitiveness such as fighting the same bosses with the two characters, and those small pauses when changing folks. I loved the music. Freaking amazing.

Did you do the optional install?  I don't recall the pauses you mention, but it has been some time since I played the game.

Hates Nomura.

Why every game in this world got to have a sequel???

Folklore was a great game, nice story, good graphics, nice gameplay

Now history, no need for sequel. Make a new game

Yeah, I installed it. It's when you press L2 to open up the folk menu and once you change folk and exit the menu, it pauses for about 2-3 seconds.

You're welcome snow.

Yeah it always did have an awkward pause, like you mentioned L2 only when you switch.

Whether this game was considered good by PS3 owners tended to vary.

If the topic was quality games, this title was considered epic. If the topic was the PS3's ability to sell RPG's, this title was a small, niche title that couldn't reasonably be considered.

I saw one mod (at the time) in particular spout both these views.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

^- still though, the game was great, its sales for some reason was very, very low.

kinda odd really, it was so low its disturbing.
