Forums - Sony - Farewell Folklore. *Another Overlooked Franchise Bites it*

This is truly a shame. I hadn't realized how poor the sales were for Folklore. It was also my first PS3 game purchase and is really quite good.

You're first PS3 game to eh?.. *sob* see there were people who enjoyed it. :L

Sad man, this is depressing. :(

Well that sucks, I really liked Folklore.  They should have added trophies around the time Uncharted got them.  It would have given the game a bit of free press since it flew under the radar when it released.  At least there would be some extra incentive for more people to give it a shot.

Wasnt folklore one of the many being listed for trophy support in jan 09?

Franchise?

this word is touted around too much, folklore is not a franchise.

Look it up, "Brave  Story" was a sequel / spin off. its a franchise.

It's more of a beautiful game then a fun game. I'd get it on sale.

..I.. didn't know this was thought of as a series?

Poor Folklore, it was a neat story. Unfortunately the game needed a better leveling system, and less repetitive battle mechanics.

This.

Sony should PAY for a sequel

I really love the game, but it did not have the production value that the mass market desires. The lack of voice overs in many spots, and a not so well designed achivment system ended up killing what could have been an interesting new IP in the Sony cataloge.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
