People list out some great games here (Mario, FF, Halo, etc). Just because you don't like the game shouldn't mean the franchise should go - I'm not into Gran Turismo or God of War, I'm not about to list it as a franchise that needs to die.
I think we can at least all agree on something like Need for Speed. Guitar Hero / RB and Call of Duty are being milked pretty badly atm - I don't think they need to die, but they need to tone down on the yearly release BS.

Dear god dont tell me you truly think Halo is some special super console FPS because I hate to tell but Haze is at equal quality of the Halo franchise thats right Halo is a standard run of the mill FPS.

I agree with all of those except for crash, i still think they can save the franchise.

yes and nomura got in, i never loved a FF char or FF so much til he got in charge on character design (RIKKU!), and no FF have the same story, battle system or soundtrack than previous.

@Jo21 Yes, we should appreciate Nomura for BELTS and ZIPPERS. I rather have two-dimensional characters with 3D personality than 3D characters with two-dimensional characters. Also, I argued this before but Pokemon's replayability comes from the battling/trading etc. I probably would have abandoned the franchise if I was solely playing it for the single player experience but that's why the series is a social thing.

Actually, I do. If I had my way, Sonic would be limited to 2D games til Sonic Team can get their act together.
Also, as long as there is a Galaxy every 5 or 6 years, I can live with a Party 8 or Super Sluggers, even though I heard it and Strikers Charged are pretty good.
