Yea there's where I've pretty much got my reasoning from.

But yea late Black Friday and long Christmas week usually will be less drop offs.  Not to mention such an expanded market with European markets not following the same trends as the American ones.  Europe hasn't usually played such a big role. 

I'm not sure about hardware because the two biggest hardware sellers, Wii and DS, are goign to be dependent on shipments during the that week but software shouldn't drop off traditionally as much aside from the ones that are shipment based like Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit.

I mean reason doesn't always explain drops because trends are hard to follow but we'll jsut have to wait and see.  But from working in retail at Gamestop I got to say it sure did feel like the holiday season this past week.

Well I totally called those net drops. Much less than last week after peak year and in general. Most are around the 20% drop mark actually and some even a little less.

Once again Bigjon and I call it spot on.
