Forums - Sony - LittleBigPlanet Metal Gear Solid pack saving glitch?

I've read reports that after the 1.07 update, many people were having issues saving because their profile was said to be too big. I deleted some objects, and the problem was fixed. However, I downloaded the Metal Gear Solid pack the first day and had a wonderful time aceing all the levels and collecting all the bubbles, only to find that after I turned off the game none of my progress saved. Every person on my friends list who purchased the pack also had this problem. Deleting many community objects and costumes allowed me to save my progress, however I never received a warning that my profile was too big. I find this troubling since 1) I never received a warning my profile was too large, and 2) I do not feel that purchasing official Media Molecule expansion packs should count towards my profile size. If this is the case, what happenes when a few more expansions are released? Should the most dedicated of LBP fans not be able to have any community objects in order to merely save their progress? This seems a serious problem that could turn many people away from what I think is one of the most wonderful games ever created.

Does anyone have an official explaination for this, or a response from Media Molecule on saving issues, or the MGS pack?

Others also seem to have this problem:
