Are you serious? Lol dude I bought the game day one and beat it like two weeks later. This was quite obviousley in hardcore mode with a buddy. There were some jaw dropping moments in that game (I'm refferring to Tai and Dom's Girl). It was an amazing title but not GOTY for me mgs4 was way too huge. The point I was raising wasn't that Gears is not a good game. It is amazing. In fact, it is probably the best TPS that I have ever played (1st one not 2nd). But Halo 3 should not define the 360 this long after its release. That was a seriousley dissapointing game. There have many better exclusives on 360 since Halo.

I would have to say Gt5 defenitly maybe God of war 3 in the future or Uncharted.

A question, what games defined PS2 or PS One?

The ps3 isn't defined by one or two titles , it's a whole plethora of 'em.make any of most key franchises on the ps3 mutil and it's business as usual , make either halo or gears multi and you've lost a huge incentive to buy an xbox360.

I would say that MGS4 is the game, but Sony doesn't want to be defined by a 3rd party titles. So for now I would say nothing. Sony keeps giving the ball to unknown players hoping they'll destroy Microsofts top titles.
