I agree.  VI each and every character song was awesome.

The only way this thread should be this long is if each poster is agreeing at how much win the FFVI soundtrack was made of.

1- FFT (if a score is considered perfect,, well this is it, intro theme is just gorgeous, Fort zeikden)
2- FF VIII (boss theme, intro theme, eyes on me, bahamut theme, laguna theme)
3 - FF VI (terra theme is just fantastic, all around fantastic soundtrack)
4 - FF X (Sudeki tane, to zanarkand, battle theme)
5 - FF IX (Melodies of life, Battle theme, Beatrix theme, Kuja theme)
6- FF VII (Intro theme, One winged angel, saucer theme, tifa theme)
7 - FF XII (Intro theme, Kiss me goodbye)
8 - FF III DS (Intro theme, worldmap theme)
9 - FF X-2 (thousand words, real emotion)
10 - FF IV DS (Intro theme)

Hmm... can't realy say... I liked VII a lot, but it's too unstable. A lot of the themes are memorable as hell (Main Theme, OWA, Aerith, and of course COSMO F***ING CANYON), and some of it is realy easy to forget. Vi has fewer memorable themes (my favorites are Shadow's, Terra and Celes and Dancing Mad) but the overall soundtrack is better than VII's. Except for Liberi Fatali and Laguna's Theme, nothing special about VIII. IX's has the best quality of all but has almost no realy memorable themes. From Tactics I'd say the Battle theme is awsome enough to make up for the ending of the game itself (which forgive me for saying, was horrible). The only theme I remember from V is "Clash on The Big Bridge" (wich makes up for the rest), just as the only theme from IV I remember is the Intro Theme. The only theme that is worth talking about from X on is "To Zanarkand".
