I just updated mine last week get the 5400rpm I heard it works better with Ps3

 PSN ID: Acidfacekiller

The first one is bigger than 2,5 inch right?

That won't fit

You need:

2,5” SATA HDD (type 5400 RPM). 7200 RPM is possible, but 5400 is safer (and cheaper?).

Have fun filling all that extra space. I'm getting very low on my 60gig hard drive.

plz tell me what one and why

You should get the second one, primarily because the first one is a desktop PC drive and will not even fit inside the PS3.

You do not need anything faster than a 5400RPM drive for the PS3. In fact, it would probably be detrimental, as faster spindles result in more noise, more vibration, and more heat.

Home consoles are not typically used in the same manner as our multiuser, multitasking desktop PCs anyhow, so the benefits of a higher RPM drive are negligible.

There is nothing wrong with 7200RPM. I did a write up on their performance benefits in this thread:

(PS3) Testing performance benefits of a 7200RPM, 16MB HDD vs the stock HDD.

But look on tigerdirect.ca or newegg.ca or just use the model number you've found and input it into pricegrabber.ca to find the best online price.
