He hasnt even experience the PSN, which is like a huge part of the ps3 experience.

      I think people have to go by something.  The thing I've noticed watching this gen so far has been that most rumours of positive things coming the 360 and Wii's way have proven to be true, and on the other hand most rumours suggesting negative things  coming the PS3's way have pretty much been proven to be true.

     I really don't know if MGS 4 will ever be on the 360.  But I am fairly certain that if Konami wants to get many more sales (Gears or Halo level) than the 3.9 million that they have so far on the PS3, then they will need to make it multi-platform.  Also, if the trend of the 360 selling 2 times as many units as the PS3 worldwide each week continues very long into the new year, Sony might want to do something if they want to have any chance of really getting back into this gen's console race as it has shaped up so far.  However, if they are not concerned about finishing third, then they'll just continue on as they are.

     As for Gears III, I believe it will be exclusively on the NextBox.

So your trading your PS3 in mainly based on it's poor sales atm?

If you can only own two systems you're going to miss out on good games no matter what you decide.  Since there is so much overlap between the 360 and PS3, having only those two means you miss out on a lot of the Wii titles (whether you like that or not).  If you have 360/Wii or PS3/Wii you miss out on less titles and get more gaming.

Sell your PS3 as soon as possible if you have already made up your mind on selling it. You will get a good price for it at the moment.

BTFeather I don't think Konami in this sense cares about its sales as they have already surpassed 4 mil (VGchartz is off, Konami has confirmed it) with MGS4. Going by that logic, Bethesda Studios would make the DLC on the PS3 to maximize its profits, SE would have release infinite undiscovery and SO4 on PS3, SE would being releasing FFXIII Versus on 360. Businesses work the way they work. For all we know Sony could have paid exclusivity for MGS4. Sony and Konami have a good relationship and i guess some companies let that get in the way of business.


Honestly, I can't see Sony progressing out of 3rd place unless the PS3 is actually $250(which will never happen). 7 months of '08 it has been beating the Xbox while at $400. In other words arrogance gets you no where. They messed up by not following the economy and the consumer because $600 is not a nice price to see for something you want.

Why would you say that?  The PS3 is available everywhere that sells it so there's no reason it should be in high demand and fectch a high price.
