The Wii will still be selling when the PS5 and XBOX 1080 are released. Probably outsell them for awhile too.

Not really, if gamers have a ps3 or 360 and a Wii at the same time then the sales should be even with the Wii but thats not whats happening right now and the Wii userbase keeps growing. If you compared it to the PS2 then thats a different topic.
And if somehow someone posts "third parties/core gamers dont sell on the Wii" and "the Wii have no 3rd party support" meme then why posting in this thread?!! Thats been debunked over and over...

35 mln.... I'm not getting the validity of that post to Wii's market share... ok I guess it's time for this site to start tracking 3D0 sales again.
In any relative measurement surely you will consider that bit of information only relevant to the Xbox 360 and that the PS3 and Wii aren't subject to that 35 million number as they weren't released yet but then again that brings into perspective all the arguements using the first year of the Xbox360 as a talking point.

Yep, which means the PS2 has beaten the PS1, which sold 30 million after the PS2 launch.
The SNES sold about 15 million after PS1/Saturn launch, I am unsure about what the NES managed.... but given that the Genesis launched first I think NES sales after Genesis launch were likely pretty big, perhaps over 20 million, which is impressive to say it only sold 60 million total.

Well NES sales were so impressive when Genisis launched in japan the NES was beating it.

You certainly can't. When your old last gen console outsells your new this gen concole 2 to 1, then you have done something very very wrong.
These market share discussions are frequently stupid and meaningless. Almost everyone discussing the Wii's marketshare is doing so incorrectly. It really is a silly discussion.
Sorry to post this so PS2 sold 32 million SO...? With SONY still make the PS2 live it should sell as it used to. Are SONY fans here alarmed that the PS2 still
sell as it used to? it will cannibalized the PS3's sales and its potential and be forgotten in next year to come...
