Yes, that would be good. Make it 2D and have it have controls like a platformer. Throw in light RPG elements also. Have Nintendo's characters. Then have NEC contribute Bonk and others. You also have Sega contribute Sonic, Tails, and other characters like Alex Kidd and Kid Chameleon. In other words make SubSpace Emmisary a full-blown game. Nintendo could also try to one up Little Big Planet and give people the ability to make new levels for it. Call the thing "Mascot Force" or something like that.
