I think all PR people should watch what they say since there are people listening and use your words to put value into the console and its products.

For example, as much as I love Nintendo and Wii I hated it when Reggie said that Disaster wasn't worth the 50 bucks. First, he said it at a bad time, around the time Wii Music was released, a game people criticized for its price tag and low contents. Second, its disrespectful towards Monolith and any developer that wants to work on the Wii. Yes, their works needs to be improved but that doesn't mean you have to openly bash them. Finally, if Reggie is the one that doesn't like Disaster he shouldn't speak on behalf of the company. I am sure there are people at Nintendo who are happy with Disaster.

These PR people and presidents really do need to watch out what they say since people will believe that's what the COMPANY believes.

Microsoft are in a business, they are here for marketshare, they don't want to destory Sony they just want to be AHEAD. It disturbs me that you find a company "taking" former exclusives bad ? exactly what did microsoft take? They bought RARE, all its games are now exclusive ... what do you expect Microsoft to do ? I don't know.

I am not explaining myself right ... need someone like Mrstickball or Zen to explain it for me. Microsoft are no some evil corp though they are just in the business to win, just like Sony and Nintendo. Nothing underhand is going on.

Have you played Disaster? Nintendo expects their games to be higher quality than that, simple as that. Timing was a little bad, but games published by Nintendo, needs to have a certain level of quality.

I used to really hate Sony when they were the Leviathan of gaming - a +100 million console company (twice in a row!) and when the Sony fanboys laughed at the Xbox calling it Halo-box and what not. Also, that Kaz Hirai guy made some really annoying statements (although that's kinda cool for a Japanese). And you always saw these ultra hip, surrealistic MTV-stylish Playstation commercials on TV all the time.

Now that Sony is only a 60 million console company, with more modest PR and the fanboys are pushed back to defense and forced to show respect towards the X360, I just sort of dislike Sony.

Being a fanboy is silly because you cut yourself off from enjoying all the other great products. But they'll never learn. Anyone that's more concerned with themselves than what's right is not a fan in my book.
