I think all PR people should watch what they say since there are people listening and use your words to put value into the console and its products.
For example, as much as I love Nintendo and Wii I hated it when Reggie said that Disaster wasn't worth the 50 bucks. First, he said it at a bad time, around the time Wii Music was released, a game people criticized for its price tag and low contents. Second, its disrespectful towards Monolith and any developer that wants to work on the Wii. Yes, their works needs to be improved but that doesn't mean you have to openly bash them. Finally, if Reggie is the one that doesn't like Disaster he shouldn't speak on behalf of the company. I am sure there are people at Nintendo who are happy with Disaster.
These PR people and presidents really do need to watch out what they say since people will believe that's what the COMPANY believes.
