Wow this is a hard one. I would say Tales of Symphonia and Skies are about equal, but for different reasons are they the best.

Tales has a better story and battle system imo

Skies has a better "theme" it is a very adverturous feeling game, moreso than Tales... The who using your own ship thing was really cool.

However Tales get the slight nod.

Skies of arcadia, i played it on Dreamcast first but i got the GC version also, it is one of my favorite RPG's ever, i got TOS but i didn't play it yet, Baten katos was great RPG, Paper mario 2 was a good game too but in the end Skies of arcadia is my favorite RPG on GC

skies of arcadia is the absolute best rpg on the gamecube. Followed by the baten kaitos games, and trailed by tales of symphonia, lastly is fire emblem!

ALl of those are worthy purchases for how much you can get them at.

phantasy star back when you could get online was the best....but stand alone game for me would be Fire Emblem

I liked Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles 4-player the best.

Oh please people. Skies of Arcadia is what made the GC worth it
