i don't really know anything about the author of the source, just seems like a blog to me. It says that it is thought that it sold around 100k, and that the sell through seemed to be high (meaning that if he's right then shipments must have been fairly low). The guy even says he is looking forward to seeing how it does over the weekend.

It seems to me it's nothing more than a guy that probably owns a store and has talked to some other people, not a guy that has solid numbers. He keeps saying "it is thought that the game sold ..."

Well i can tell you 1 thing. I went to Yodabashi (biggest electronics retailer) in Akihabara (gamers heaven) yesterday (WKC release day) and it was all sold out so i couldnt grab a copy :(

MAybe shippment number was low, but if that is the case that Sony fails big time. You have to put out there enough copies on release date, especially when it is fall AND 25 December, end of the year.

The first shipment was low, but that's because the preorders were low as well. And apparently another shipment is on the way before the weekend, so no worry.
