Best: Ocarina of Time

worst, or rather, most dissapointing: Twilight Princess

For worst ending you gotta go retro. I don't really remember bad endings that well as there were so many. I remember most Nintendo console games forcing you to get off your arse and restart or turn off the console than letting you go back to the titile screen. However I do remember Virtua Fighter games having next to no endings (apart from the Dural one) while Tekken got fancy CG endings for each character. That made me jealous lol.

For best....hmmm, that's a tough one. Grandia 2 with all that heart warming portugese singing in the lush mountains and in space and all. Also the trippy Panzer Dragoon Saga ending where it was revealed YOU was just playing the game and hence in control of that particular gaming universe!

This. Nothing else even comes close.

Best ending - Tough choice here, but my pick goes to Terranigma, having all that trouble restoring the world back to it's former self, and avoiding dark gaia destroying it again, to realise that you had only moments to live...The bird ending flying above everything that you saw growing is just touching

Worst Ending - "Thank you Mario! Your quest is over. We present you a new quest. Push button B to select a world." I mean, Super Mario Bros is a legendary game to me, but having all that trouble, and hearing "Thank you mario! But the princess is in another castle" for almost a million times, and you only get that as a reward??? I wanted to murder some nintendo's executives -.-

Well Gears of War2-ending is something else, but don't know if it is a good or bad thing

You know, you destroy the city, the game is finished, you see the credits and after the credits, you hear the voice of Marcus father, saying "what have you done...?" I really wanted to play Gears 3 in  that very moment.
