haha i was gonna put Prince of Persia as best. A little unorthodox, but then again I like games that deviate from shit you see in other games. Tired of predictable plot.

Lol I just thought it was boring and stupid and meaningless.

Best: Ocarina of Time.
Worst: Halo 2... What the Fuck was with that?

Rampage on NES was the worst ending. After 100+ levels of repetitive crap you finally beat the game and are awarded a statement...

"Congratulations!"

Bioshock's ending was pretty lame. All you get is a 30 second cutscene after all that.

Half Life 2 Episode 2 has the best ending I can think of. I was like :O:O:O

Super Mario world, Half life 1 and 2, and Pokemon

The best endings: Fallout 2 is one, that's a no-brainer. Star Control 2 has a memorable, albeit basic ending. Super Metroid is also a solid mention, and I really liked the ending of Deus Ex, as well.

The worst: As far as the biggest disappointment is concerned:

As far as I'm concerned, the ending shaves at least a single point (out of 10) off its score by itself.

Urgh. Fallout 3 is alright by me on all accounts, except for the ending - and the fact that it's piss easy if you have any RPG and/or FPS experience whatsoever.

As for the people who either are playing the game, or are considering starting it, do yourself a favor and don't finish the main quest. It's not worth it, honestly.
