I used my Wii to charge my Sony Walkman mp3 player. I'm surprised it didn't explode.

I dunno, I tried charging my MP3 player using the USB ports on a PS3 and it didn't work. Maybe the system has to be turned on? I can't remember if I tried that or not.

USB Ports have 500mA power standards, I think.
So, any electronics that has usb charger can charge through Wii, PS3, etc...

Yes the Wii can charge devices like my PDA.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Nordlead's probably correct... the PS3 USB ports probably just aren't up to spec.
