I expected Prince of Persia to have a lackluster reception. The only reason Assassins Creed did so well was because it was a graphical powerhouse in 2007. If it were released today, the game would bomb. I get PoP tomorrow, and I intend to enjoy it. Still, even the originals (wich were great games) were not smash hits. Ubi (EA?) should've seen this coming.

What a lie. The game sold on the promise of an assassin in a sandbox game. Almost no one said it was a graphical powerhouse.

WHAT!?

HUH!? What's holding that sock up?

 Pure willpower.

Does that line work on the ladies? Or just the teenagers?

The proper response by age:

8-14: "Fairy magic"

15-19: "Pure willpower"

20-25: "The Force"

26-30:  "My balls!"

30-60: "Viagra"

I don’t care what everybody ells thinks but I say hahahahah fu’k u Ubisoft!! You deserve it!
I am a supporter of innovation and new ideas but not of a shovel wear company!

I really enjoy this game. The "Living Oil Painting" style art direction is eye candy. I actually really like the idea of not dying. My 4 year old loves that aspect as do I. Many times I just hand the controller to my daughter while I make a head call or get a drink. She hops, climbs, and moves around without fear of dying, and enjoys every second of it. No.....this is not a (4 year old difficulty confirmed, confession). It is just a nice addition to a fantastic game.

I agree with many of the previous posters that I think this game should have been released during a slower gaming month/season. I think it would have helped. Matching up against this holidays awesome line-up on both consoles was a mistake.

Graphics are important.

I really don't understand this. PoP looks incredible. Really one of the most beautiful games of the year. I guess I wasn't paying attention the day when good graphics became equal to realism.

Yeah I agree, PoP is a beautifull game, with a nice global design.

I thought EA was run by a team of professionals. That was a rather poor showing.
