Presumably worldwide, Capcom has stated several times that they are trying to Make MH as big in the West as it is in Japan

What he said.  Except for the last part, since it's a port they don't need to sell that many copies to make a profit.

could also just be developers finding the easiest way to make up for all their HD games that havent made as much profit as they would have liked.

Did they announce a timeframe? Before MH3 obviously. So how soon?

So wait, you'll criticise developers for porting games, but still frequently buy ports?

If you honestly believe that porting games is always a bad thing, and that it is purely for money, and not to allow a greater audience to enjoy the game, then take a stand. I encourage you to sell those 4 or 5 games to people that would otherwise have bought new copies. Stick it to the man!

so its not about money then. And stop assuming, my comment was only meant for the wii. The wii is not the only consoles that gets ports, and i like the wii.

I see this thread as more of wii owners going nutz over a port of a game that is Very dated. not to mention the fact that it hasn't been anounce for anywhere other then japan.
