PSrock - they are not forcing anyone, and they wouldn't make ports if there wasn't an audience for them. I do not own a PS2, and would potentially buy this game

@ RPG - the PSP port of MH3 has already been denied, it seems likely that this game is being ported as part of the advertising campaign for MH3 on the Wii

It's very funny, mostly because they already have a lot of experience...

Dude, before making acusations, know that  I hate Monster Hunter Games, I really could care less if the wii gets it, I was pointing out how Developers keeps feeding the  Japanese fans the same game so many times.

 

It's exactly the same with western developers... the majority of games on both the 360 and PS3 are FPS... over and over again...

Besides... whats wrong with re-releasing the same game again? There are tons of people who haven't played Monster Hunter G who are willing to buy the game on the Wii...

Yes, but my point is that you shouldn't blame Capcom for making a port - it's an easy way for them to bring a game to the market, and many of us haven't played it before.

If people didn't like ports, they wouldn't sell

I like ports.

If I haven't played it... it's new to me!

Plus ported games usually have a good level of quality... as there is a reason why they are porting it.

why can't I blame them? it's an easy way to make money, nothing more.

I never play RE4 before Wii, same as Dead Rising(360) and MH(PS2).

So i'm quite happy about this news. :)
(Not everyone ever play games that you already played.)

Capcom really is the king of old Wii ports.

At the very least it'll be a nice indicator of how well MH3 will do...
